Anybody who says that college football bowl games don’t mean anything has not experienced the 2024 Cheez-It Citrus Bowl. The seventh-oldest bowl game in the country hosts the top Big Ten and SEC teams from outside the College Football Playoff and is set to take things to the next level on game day!
Cheez-It used a unique NIL deal to ensure that four lucky players got to “wake up feeling the cheeziest” at last year’s game by having them stay in a tricked out hotel room while in town. They also set up a suite for fans on the field.
This year, Cheez-It is going to ensure that the players and fans are looking the cheeziest come kickoff!
Name, Image and Likeness player partners will have exclusive access to an athletes-only “Flexin’ Section,” which will be complete with its own barbershop. A celebrity barber will hook them up with fresh haircuts before the game while the players stuff their mouths with an unlimited supply of Cheez-It snacks.
Not long thereafter, both teams will take the field. As will… a select group of fans?!
Cheez-It is setting up a snack-inspired barbershop and spa experience on the sideline. Perhaps most importantly, there will be a literal hot tub. You can watch the Citrus Bowl from a literal hot tub!

Admittedly, it would be a lot funnier if the players themselves were getting their hair and nails done during the game. Imagine if a wide receiver scored a touchdown, ran over, and got a fade on the field?
That would be a logistical nightmare, so Cheez-It is sticking to the fans for now. The Flexin’ Section will dish out makeovers that are inspired by the famously square cheese crackers with orange hair dye jobs, red and orange mani/pedis and massages that smell like cheese.
Meanwhile, elsewhere at Camping World Stadium, fans can chow down on two new Cheez-It inspired snacks. The Citrus Bowl will serve the Loaded Chili Cheez-It Crunch Dog and Mac & Cheez-It Walking Nachos.

Getting your nails done and hair did before watching a college football game from a hot tub the sideline sounds pretty sweet. Bowl games are the best!
