The Cleveland Browns Are Favored To Win For The First Time Since 2015

The Cleveland Browns are the favorite to win. That’s a sentence I didn’t think I’d write following a 1-15 2016 season, the worst in franchise history.

But, at the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook, the Cleveland Browns opened as a 2.5-point road favorite at the Indianapolis Colts in Week 3 (early betting moved the line down to 1.5). It’s the first time that the Browns have been favored since Week 14 of the 2015 season and the first time the Browns have been a road favorite since Week 7 of the 2014 season, ESPN reports.

While Andrew Luck is rehabbing a surgically repaired shoulder and backups Scott Tolzien and Jacoby Brissett have been less than competent, Cleveland has a real shot to pull out the road win.

Per ESPN Stats & Information, Cleveland has the fewest games (9) as a road favorite over the past 20 seasons, followed by Houston and Detroit with 26. BUT, the Browns have the highest cover percentage as a road favorite over than span (78 percent).

God, please gift Cleveland a win, nobody deserves this much ridicule…

The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
