The Cleveland Indians are no more.
In a video narrated by Oscar award-winning actor Tom Hanks, the Major League Baseball team in Cleveland announced they are changing their name for the first time in over 100 years to the Guardians after criticism that the name “Indians” and their mascot Chief Wahoo were insensitive towards Native Americans.
