CNN’s Chris Cuomo Grills LaVar Ball For Not Thanking Trump In Bizarre, Contentious Interview

The Donald Trump-LaVar Beef is in full swing. Last week, the President of the United States took to Twitter to demand a “Thank You” from LiAngelo Ball and his two teammates after Trump claims he personally to spoke to the Chinese President about their shoplifting case during his trip to Asia.

LaVar Ball has since refused to thank the President because he doesn’t think Trump did much in helping his son.

Who?” LaVar Ball told ESPN on Friday, when asked about Trump’s involvement in the matter. “What was he over there for? Don’t tell me nothing. Everybody wants to make it seem like he helped me out.”

On Tuesday night, CNN’s Chris Cuomo spoke to LaVar Ball in a bizarre and confusing 20 minute interview where Ball refused to thank President Trump for helping out his son LiAngelo in China.

LaVar Ball opened the interview by explaining that just because the President says that he helped doesn’t mean that he actually did anything and for that reason he didn’t deserve a “Thank You”.

Chris Cuomo began grilling LaVar about taking a shot at the President when all Trump did was help his son from serving a lengthy prison sentence in China.

Chris Cuomo: Why you take on Donald Trump after he helped your kid?

LaVar Ball: Take on him for what? What are we doing for each other?

Chris Cuomo: I know what he did for you, and instead of saying thank you, you take a shot at hime.

LaVar Ball: What did he do for me?

Chris Cuomo: He helped your son get out of jail for a long time”

Of course LaVar had to make a mockery of the interview and at one poing asked Chris Cuomo to thank him for having him on.

LaVar ended the interview with a Thanksgiving shoutout to Donald Trump and plug for the Big Baller Brand.
