Colby Covington is not backing down from taking shots at Leon Edwards’ dead father even after his loss at UFC 296.

Last week, Covington received backlash from fans and the media when he brought up Edwards’ murdered father during a press conference.

Since then, several fighters, including Sean Strickland and Jon Jones, came forward to condemn Covington’s comments.

Despite the backlash, Covington doubled down and accused Edwards’ father of being a “drug lord” and “sex trafficker” before he was murdered despite Edwards only describing his father as a “gang leader” in previous interviews.

On Wednesday night, Covington appeared on Patrick Bet-David’s podcast and refused to apologize for his comments. Instead, Covington appeared to compare Edwards’ dead dad to Hitler.

“Why would I feel bad, anything I say about someone that is such a criminal and put so much pain in people’ s lives, I’m not going to feel bad for someone like that, just like Hitler he was a terrible person”

When called out about the Hitler comment, Covington didn’t really back down.

“I’m not comparing him to Hitler but it’s that same level of bad guy”

Colby immediately received backlash over his latest comments about Edwards’ dad.
