Jon Jones is apparently not a fan of Colby Covington and his antics.
Earlier this week, Covington faced backlash from several fighters for mocking Leon Edwards’ late father during the UFC 296 pre-fight press conference.
Even Sean Strickland took issue with Covington’s comments directed at Edwards.
“Colby is an utter piece of sh–. If you know Colby on a personal level, he f—ed over everybody he f—ing knows and I take Colby as a personal insult to me because Trumpsters, the republican, you guys are my f—ing people,” Strickland said. “The blue-collar workers. You guys are my f—ing people and you have a c— like Colby taking up the banner and he don’t give a f– about you and him making fun of Leon’s dad, that is the biggest f—ng c— move you can do.”
Jones agreed with Strickland’s comments and went on to call Covington an “absolutely terrible human being.”
“Couldn’t agree with (Sean) Strickland anymore,” Colby (Covington) is by far the most heinous human being I’ve ever encountered in my life. I won’t even get into personal stories, he’s an absolutely terrible human being.”
It seems like a lot of people are rooting for Colby Covington to lose at UFC 296 on Saturday.
