Jim Irsay Fired HC Frank Reich & Colts Fans Already Ponder Replacement

The Indianapolis Colts are in complete shambles this season as nothing has worked in their favor at all. Matt Ryan looks washed, the offensive line is atrocious, the run game can’t get going, and the wide receiver room is nothing to gloat about. Now, Jim Irsay makes a final decision as he’s officially fired head coach Frank Reich.

Colts Fire Frank Reich Amid Horrible Season

According to Tom Pelissero, Jim Irsay has let go of Frank Reich as the Colts’ head coach. The team has largely been mediocre under his command and after another brutal loss, Irsay saw enough and pulled the plug.

The future is incredibly bleak for this franchise right now as Indianapolis has been in the gutter since Andrew Luck retired. However, many Colts fans are pleased with Frank Reich getting fired. So much so, they’re already pondering his future replacement.

Fans Already Ponder Who Will Be The Colts’ Next Head Coach

Of course, the fans are already chiming in with their wish list for the next potential coach of the team. It’s unclear who that will be at this time, as Indianapolis will have to wait until after the regular season to hire somebody. Regardless, Colts fans can’t help themselves from tossing some names into the hat.

If it were a popularity contest then Pat McAfee would be the next head coach of the Colts, apparently.

Sean Payton is going to be a HOT name this offseason.

We’ll see how it plays out, as the Colts are a bit of a mess right now. Nothing has gone right for roughly eight years. However, the right head coaching hire can turn things around. Look for Indianapolis to be busy once the regular season ends.
