See that guy up there? Conor McGregor? Well, he wasn’t always the braggadocios “Notorious One” we now know.
In rare footage unearthed by MMA Intake a very young Conor McGregor is a very different man than the one who feuds with Floyd Mayweather, gets gigs on Game of Thrones and thinks he deserves a piece of the UFC.
Just 20-years-old and as he says, “with a record of four and one,” McGregor, while showing some humility, already displays the confidence that would help him to explode into the mega-star he is today.
“My dream is to be World Lightweight Champion in the UFC. Have more money than I know what to do with. And have a great life for my kids, grandkids and everyone in my family,” says McGregor when discussing his future. “My goal is to be number one in MMA.”
8 years later and he’s done all of that and more. Impressive.
