No. 1 Recruit Cooper Flagg Narrowing Down College Choice With First 3 Official Visits

Cooper Flagg is college basketball‘s top recruit in the nation right now and he’s finally going on official visits with three programs.

This stems after he recently chose to reclassify to 2024. Considering he’s finally going on visits, we should know which school he ends up playing for relatively soon.

According to 247 Sports, “planning to officially visit Duke, UConn and Kansas.” 247 Sports also reports that it was Flagg’s mother who broke the news to them.

It’s not yet clear exactly what dates Cooper Flagg will visit these programs, however, he will be visiting each school sometime in the fall.

Of the three college programs, Cooper Flagg has reportedly “already taken one unofficial visit to Duke at the beginning of the month while he was on his way to participate in the Steph Curry Camp,” per 247 Sports.

If that’s the case, then the Blue Devils might be the favored choice for the No. 1 recruit in the nation.

Cooper Flagg has offers from multiple college teams. On top of Duke, UConn, and Kansas offering him a scholarship, Flagg has offers from UCLA, Michigan, West Virginia, Providence, Villanova, and Texas.

247 Sports indicates there are other offers on the table as well.

Cooper Flagg is a monster of a basketball recruit. He’s proven to be a legitimate two-way threat. Flagg’s potential on the defensive end makes him a vital piece for any basketball team.

Additionally, scouts are drooling over his ability with the ball in his hands as well. I mean, just watch this highlight reel of him dominating everybody on the court.

Flagg is expected to make an immediate impact wherever he goes. So, the race to land him will only heat up throughout the fall.
