It’s the same stadium, the same seats, the same parking lot and the same concessions. So why does it cost so much more to go to a Los Angeles Rams game?
According to a new study by The Action Network, a family of four can expect to spend roughly $1,627.71 to see a Rams game. In contrast, that same family would spend $1,205.83 to attend a Chargers game at the same stadium.
The average cost of concessions at SoFi Stadium for an NFL game is $83.51, and parking is estimated at $95, regardless of which team is playing. The difference comes from ticket costs. A family of four will pay an average of $1,449.20 to attend a Rams game, while that same family can get four tickets to a Chargers game for $1,027.32.
It’s like when the Lakers and the Clippers shared the Staples Center, though not quite as bad. At least Rams fans aren’t paying four to five times more on average than fans did for Clippers games at various points back in the day.
The Cheapest and Most Expensive NFL Stadiums for Families in 2026
According to The Action Network, which analyzed 539,192 ticket listings across all 32 NFL teams and added food, drink and parking prices to calculate the stadium cost for a family of four, the cheapest stadium to catch an NFL game in 2026 is Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland.
The Cleveland Browns’ home stadium has the lowest family-of-four cost in the NFL at $823.13, $651.42 less than the league average. Nissan Stadium in Nashville is the second-cheapest at $993.45, while Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis is third at $1.079.07.
The most expensive stadium for a family of four to watch an NFL game in 2026 is the Buffalo Bills’ new home, Highmark Stadium, which tops the list at $2,193.95 for a family of four, or $719.40 more than the NFL average, and a whopping $1,370.82 more than fans who attend Browns games pay.
Soldier Field in Chicago is the second-most expensive stadium to attend an NFL game at $2,169.87, and Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia is the third-most expensive place to catch a game with an average cost of $2,116.94.
If you are going purely on the cost of food and drinks, however, a family buying two beers, two soft drinks and four hot dogs at Allegiant Stadium in Houston will spend $86.63, the highest combined food-and-drink cost in the NFL.
