The Cowboys took a beating from the 49ers on Sunday Night, 42-10, and questions about Dak Prescott ability as a quarterback resurfaced.

The loss also has people questioning about the Cowboys‘ chances of making it to the Super Bowl, a feat they haven’t achieved since the good old ’90s. But owner/general Manager Jerry Jones hasn’t lost faith in his quarterback.

Jones came out strong, saying, “I completely believe we have the quarterback that can take us where we want to go.” Jerry’s convinced Prescott is the man for the job. “Dak Prescott is a quarterback that can get us to the Super Bowl. And that’s the way that’s going to be,” he added, according to Clarence E. Hill, Jr. of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

Prescott has been the main guy under center since his rookie season back in 2016. However, despite the talent on the roster, the Cowboys haven’t made it back to the NFC Championship game.

There’s still something missing in the recipe for success. Whether it’s Prescott, the coaching, or the rest of the team, the Cowboys don’t appear close to making that Super Bowl run.

Sunday night’s massive loss made that painfully clear. Where do they go from here? according to Jerry Jones, wherever it is, it will be with Dak Prescott.
