The Dallas Cowboys are currently routing the Chicago Bears as they look good all around. However, all eyes are on running back Tony Pollard right now, as he’s performing well by himself in the backfield. So much so, fans are beginning to wonder why he’s not the starter over Ezekiel Elliott.

Cowboys Fans Want Tony Pollard To Be The Starting Running Back Over Ezekiel Elliott

Pollard has looked phenomenal in the first half of the game. He’s already accumulated over 50 yards and a touchdown off of just seven rush attempts. He’s made eye-opening moves and looked like a true starring running back on his touchdown for the Cowboys.

He’s making so much noise that fans are now calling for him to lead the backfield over Ezekiel Elliott. Although Zeke has played a large role for Dallas throughout his career, Cowboys fans seem ready for him to pass the torch to Tony Pollard.

Yes, he is, Bryson. Yes, he is.

Pollard’s performance is really catching some attention on Sunday.

We’ll see what the Cowboys do once Ezekiel Elliott returns to the lineup. Dallas is likely to continue utilizing a two running back system, but maybe they should consider giving Tony Pollard more opportunities for the rest of the season.
