Dak Prescott will surely hear from the league office after he made some interesting comments to the media on Sunday night.
On Sunday, Cowboys fans were seen throwing bottles on the field after Dallas was eliminated from the playoffs on what seemed to be a controversial call at the time.

After the game, Prescott began disparaging the fans for throwing objects on the field until he heard that they were throwing things at the refs. Prescott went on to applaud fans for throwing stuff at the refs because it appears he was upset with the officiating.
Cowboys QB Dak Prescott disparaged fans for throwing bottles, debris at players. Then Prescott was told the fans were aiming for officiating crew. Prescott retracted. “A credit to them then.”

Cowboys QB Dak Prescott: “The fans felt the same way as us. I guess that’s why the refs took off and got out of there so fast. I think everybody is upset with the way this thing played out.” https://t.co/39p4x4itkE pic.twitter.com/bj1nHCuIfu

Longtime Cowboys beat writers agreed that those comments are a bad look for Prescott.
Dak Prescott didn’t immediately regret his comment. He will in time. That was a bad look.
Being upset with the officiating is perfectly fine. Saying “good for them, then” about fans throwing beer bottles at officials is another thing entirely, and is patently inappropriate.
