Dak Prescott went from zero to hero in one week with an incredible performance on MNF. The Cowboys passer had maybe his best game of the season after struggling mightily against the 49ers last Sunday.
That production helped one NFL bettor close out a 10-leg parlay to turn $250 into $200,000.
Dallas entered the matchup having lost two of their previous three games. A blowout loss to San Francisco was the down point of the season thus far, with the 42-10 decision placing doubt in the team’s chances as an actual Super Bowl contender.
In that defeat, Prescott played particularly poorly, throwing for just 153 yards and tossing three picks. The haters came out in droves to bash the passer after the game.
Oh, what a week can do.
Fast forward to MNF, and Dak Prescott looked like the best player on the field. He threw for a season-high 272 yards while also adding 40 yards on the ground to lead the team.
Prescott threw for a touchdown and ran for another to lead the Cowboys past the Chargers, 20-17.

That play above came on a crucial third down with the game tied at 10-10. The 60-yard pass set up a Prescott touchdown pass to Brandin Cooks giving Dallas a fourth quarter lead.
Prescott would also lead the Cowboys on a 14-play, 54-yard drive to set up the game-winning field goal on the team’s next possession.
That three-point win helped the favored Cowboys not only win, but also cover the 1.5-point spread. That outcome made one bettor very happy.

There’s no doubt the bettor was sweating it out when the Chargers tied things up in the fourth quarter, but thanks to Dak Prescott’s heroics, the $200,000 parlay cashed.
