Damarious Randall Takes A Parting Shot At The Green Bay Packers After Getting Traded To The Browns
Late last week, the Green Bay Packers traded cornerback/safety Damarious Randall to the Cleveland Browns for backup QB Deshone Kizer.
NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported late Friday afternoon Damarious Randall is set to be traded from the Green Bay Packers to the Cleveland Browns. A few minutes later, Rapoport revealed the compensation: quarterback DeShone Kizer.
Per Rapoport, the Packers will send Randall to the Browns in exchange for Kizer. In addition, Rapoport reported the two teams will swap picks in the fourth and fifth rounds in next month’s draft, with Green Bay moving up in both. The trade cannot be officially completed until Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET — the start of the new league year.
Apparently Randall didn’t enjoy his time with the Packers last season because he seemed pretty happy to be traded to a team with an 0-16 record.
The former Packers CB clashed with coaches last season despite having a pretty good year the team still decided to trade him.
Randall has plenty to be excited about in Cleveland considering the team has been signing players left and right and will have two top draft picks in the upcoming NFL draft.
