Dana White has a new concern for the upcoming UFC White House event.

Last week, while speaking with Lara Trump on Fox News, White said that he was worried about lightning ruining the outdoor White House event.

“I hate outdoors. Outdoors is just way too unpredictable. And we’ve gone over this, you know. If it rains, we’re going. If it snows, we’re going. The only thing that will stop us is lightning.”

“But we’re working with the military. So the military knows the weather ten days out, and they’ll notify us every two hours, ten days out. Seven days out, they’ll notify us every hour.”

“There’s another company that does it for concerts and things like that. They’re very good too. So what could happen is the only thing that kills us is lightning.”

During a recent interview with Boardroom, White says he’s now concerned with gnats after having dinner at the Rose Garden a few nights ago.

“President Trump just opened the Rose Garden two nights ago and he invited me to dinner there. The amount of gnats that were flying around … I’m like, ‘Holy sh*t.’ As soon as I got on the plane, I called my head production and said, ‘Yeah, let me tell you about the gnat situation tonight.’”

“So when you’re a fighter, think about that lighting grid, the claw that we’re gonna have, the amount of power in the lights,” White continued. “Moths, gnats, and God knows what else — fighters trying to deal with that. In your mouth, up your nose while you’re trying to fight. Maybe we put fans in because gnats have a hard time with the wind. These are all the little details that we have to think about. That’s why I don’t like fighting outside. Ever.”
