Zion Williamson was a man amongst boys in Wednesday night’s game. He looked like the superstar the New Orleans Pelicans always hoped he could be.

His play was so dominant that even the Minnesota Timberwolves were shocked by his performance.

Williamson finished the game with a career-high 43 points on the night. On top of that, he went out and scored the final 14 points for the Pelicans, ultimately leading them to victory. Zion Williamson is playing at another level right now and he’s a major reason why New Orleans is competing so well in the Western Conference.

After the game, the Timberwolves guard D’Angelo Russell was asked about Zion Williamson’s brilliant play. According to ClutchPoints, Russell claims the Pelicans’ star is “playing football, we playing basketball.” He goes on to say, “we can’t touch him or guard him. So, good for him.”

Zion Williamson really does look like a football player on the court. He’s just out here bullying his opponents in the paint. On top of that, he’s proving to be a key defender for the Pelicans too.

Look for New Orleans to stay hot, as Williamson is becoming a superstar in front of our very eyes.
