Tensions are running high within the Las Vegas Raiders organization as star running back Josh Jacobs remains absent from training camp due to his contract dispute.

The situation has caught the attention of star teammate wide receiver Davante Adams, who expressed his discontent in a recent interview with Bridget Condon of NFL Network.

Jacobs’ absence from training camp has sparked concern among fans and players alike, as the talented running back has yet to sign his franchise tagged 1-year contract ahead of the 2023 season.

Unfortunately, Jacobs’ decision mirrors a growing trend across the NFL, with tagged running backs, including Saquon Barkley of the New York Giants and Tony Pollard of the Dallas Cowboys.

Davante Adams, the star wide receiver who was traded to the Raiders before last season, has been vocal about his unhappiness regarding the situation.

Adams shared his frustration, saying, “Not having him right now is obviously something that I’m not happy with.” Adding, “He played like the best back in the league last year, which if you ask me he is the best back in the league last year. He is the best back in the league.”

The absence of a dynamic playmaker like Jacobs could potentially hinder the Raiders’ offensive prowess and impact their overall performance in the upcoming season.

The competitive AFC West division poses significant challenges, and the uncertain status of Jacobs adds an additional layer of uncertainty to the team’s prospects for the upcoming season.
