The NBA Playoffs are officially underway and we have some stellar matchups in the opening round.

De’Aaron Fox and the Sacramento Kings took it to the Golden State Warriors in Game 1, in what should be a thrilling series.

However, many were talking about Curry’s ability to run around the court, as he is in constant movement. During a postgame interview, Fox hilariously shared what it’s like having to guard the Warriors superstar.

Bleacher Report shows the clip of De’Aaron Fox referencing a story JR Smith told during his guest appearance on JJ Redick’s podcast The Old Man And The Three.

Here is Fox’s full statement.

The Kings’ guard was all over the place when he was guarding Steph Curry. As he mentioned, Sacramento’s strategy is to circulate who is guarding Curry.

Regardless, it’s funny to hear De’Aaron Fox admit how difficult it is to guard one of the best point guards in league history.

And if anyone knows what Fox is talking about, it would be Matthew Dellavedova. That guy gave it his all and was one of the only players to guard Curry during that Finals series between the Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers.

With that said, this current series between the Kings and Warriors might be the most entertaining of the playoffs.

De’Aaron Fox vs. Steph Curry proved to be thrilling throughout the game. Any basketball fan would be happy to watch this series go all seven games.

That is of course you’re not a Kings or Warriors fan.

Make sure to tune into Game 2 on Monday night, 10 P.M. Eastern, as the Kings aim to take a two-game lead over the Warriors.
