The Tennessee Titans made some noise on what was a quiet summer day in July after officially signing DeAndre Hopkins to a two-year deal.

It’s an exciting acquisition for a team that desperately needed some help at wide receiver and they should be considered a playoff contender out of the AFC South.

Despite that, Hopkins’ decision to go to Tennessee ruffled some feathers on social media, as many criticized the signing.

However, the superstar wide receiver didn’t hold back, as he bashed his critics on both Twitter and Threads.

First, he made sure to let his haters know he appreciates them, which is something we hear a ton of professional athletes say. I mean, these guys receive criticism all the time, so it makes sense why they use it as fuel.

After that, Hopkins called out people for being “fake analysts” due to their opinions. He also used Madden and NBA 2K as a way to dish it back to his haters. He criticized the critics!

At the end of the day, people just don’t like the fact DeAndre Hopkins chose the Titans. Mainly because the common belief is this team has no shot at winning the Super Bowl next season. Which is a fair criticism.

However, Hopkins clearly wants to play in Tennessee after signing a contract that makes sense for both parties.

He would have had to take a pay cut to play for the Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs’ front office didn’t seem to show much interest.

The New England Patriots may have been in the running, but the Titans were able to sway DeAndre Hopkins to sign with them.

With that said, if he can remain healthy all season, Hopkins can certainly help Tennessee’s offense improve in the passing game.
