Deebo Samuel is taking his offseason seriously as he looks to help the 49ers finally get over the postseason hump. After back-to-back appearances in the NFC Championship Game, they have a Super Bowl on the mind.

Samuel is one of the NFL’s most explosive players with the ball in his hand, but injuries have slowed his production throughout his career. Over the last three seasons, he’s missed significant stints with a number of different lower body issues.

You wouldn’t know it watching his latest training.

Samuel’s recent workouts are going viral this week, one of which shows him topping out at nearly 19 MPH on a treadmill with no help from the machine.

Many around the NFL world took immediate note of the impressive feat as they rushed to social media to post reactions.

Fans can’t wait to see Deebo Samuel back on the field.

This person wrote, “Oh man, we’re getting 2021 Deebo back.” That ’21 season saw Samuel earn All-Pro honors after leading the league in yards per catch.

Another follower said, “It seems like Deebo is more locked in and hungrier than ever this offseason! He’s had enough of almost! He wants his ring!”

Even former Bengals great Chad Johnson weighed in on the treadmill clip.

Samuel uses that speed in a variety of ways on the field, as he often doubles as both a running back and kick returner. It’s not just top-end speed he’s working on, though.

Videos are also being posted showcasing his ability to cut on a dime, change direction, and accelerate. In 107-degree heat, at that.

Samuel looks ready for opening kickoff. We’ll see if he and the 49ers can get a ring this season.
