The Washington Huskies were able to break into the top 5 after a stunning win against USC, but that’s not good enough to get on primetime over Deion Sanders.
The Pac-12’s TV schedules for this weekend’s game were released, and unfortunately, the Huskies are not on national television.
According to the Pac-12, Colorado vs UCLA will be the featured national television game on ABC, and the Huskies will be relegated to FS1 on cable.
In primetime, Colorado gets ABC. Top-5 Washington gets FS1. https://t.co/T7D9v5ylWO

Some fans are not happy with the decision to put Colorado on primetime over Washington considering the Huskies have a legit shot at making the college football playoffs while the Buffs just suffered a humiliating defeat.
Wow this is great for college football and I'm very glad we've all decided to let TV ratings influence how we deliver and receive news about this sport https://t.co/iuApeI1hlt

Colorado is still a ratings juggernaut despite having their lowest TV rating of the season vs Stanford, with 3.3 million viewers.
It is worth noting that the Buffs played the Cardinals on Friday night with a 10 pm EST kickoff.
Friday’s Stanford-Colorado college football game averaged 3.29 million viewers on ESPN, easily the least-watched Buffaloes game of the season on Nielsen-rated television. Every other Colorado game on a Nielsen-rated network has averaged at least seven million.
The previous Colorado game on cable — against Colorado State last month — averaged 9.3 million. Like that Colorado State game, Stanford-Colorado went to double-overtime and ended well into the early morning hours on the East Coast.
If low for a Colorado game, viewership was still the highest for a Friday night game this season and second-highest of any weeknight game (excluding holidays).
