Deshaun Watson is set to make his return to football in Week 13. He’ll be making his Cleveland Browns debut, however, many still have his controversial lawsuits fresh in mind. The star quarterback made a long-winded statement for the first time in years and now fans are absolutely torching him for it.
Before the media could ask him any questions, the Browns quarterback made a long-winded opening statement, per James Palmer. He basically thanked the club, teammates, his lawyers, and everyone in between. Deshaun Watson then finalizes his statement by claiming the only questions he can answer at this time are strictly about football.

It makes sense why Watson’s lawyer team is having him avoid any questions pertaining to his lawsuit. There are a lot of Browns fans not pleased with the idea of Deshaun Watson being their new starting quarterback. For that reason, many are voicing their frustration and displeasure online.
He’s a POS. I hope he gets booed for the remaining of the career.

This may explain why Deshaun Watson won’t answer any questions about the lawsuits.
One of the accused has not settled their case and wants to go to trial, so he still has some legal issues.

In the end, the Browns didn’t do themselves any favors with the public eye giving Watson that massive contract. Regardless, Deshaun Watson is finally going to play.
