Deshaun Watson is set to make his debut for the Cleveland Browns this year. Ironically he’s facing his former team the Houston Texans where everything went to mayhem. As he aims to make his first start, it sounds like about 10 of his alleged victims in the sexual assault lawsuits will be in attendance at the game.

According to ESPN, attorney Tony Buzbee claims, “about 10 of the women who accused Watson of sexual harassment and assault during massages are planning to attend Sunday’s game.” Deshaun Watson’s alleged victims apparently want to, “kind of make the statement, ‘Hey, we’re still here. We matter. Our voice was heard, and this is not something that’s over.”

Although the Browns and Texans aren’t that entertaining of a matchup, many are likely to tune in to see how Watson takes over the quarterback duties for Cleveland. Regardless, it’s a bit odd the alleged victims would want to attend the game. However, maybe their presence is enough to send the message they want t deliver to Deshaun Watson.

We’ll have to see how it plays out. It’s been over a season and a half since we’ve last seen Watson under center. Between his boycott playing with the Texans to his 11-game suspension, it’s unclear what kind of quarterback we’re going to see on Sunday.

One thing is for certain though. Deshaun Watson’s alleged victims are not going to let him forget about it. Mayne, it’s weird of them to attend the game as some suggest. However, these women could use it as a brilliant time to send a message.
