Spurs superstar Victor Wembayama could be out during a critical time for the team.
On Tuesday, Wembayama was forced to leave game 2 of the Spurs-Blazers series after suffering a bizarre head injury when he fell on his face, and his head bounced on the court.

He has entered the concussion protocol, which is potentially concerning, meaning that the Spurs’ medical doctors are concerned he has suffered a concussion.
Best case scenario, he only misses the rest of the game and it was just a ‘scare,’ not a full concussion.
Depending on the specifics, however, if Wembanyama is confirmed to have a concussion, there is a possibility he could miss 3 to 10+ days, depending on his symptoms and how quickly he’s able to clear the concussion protocol.
If Wembanyama is diagnosed with a concussion, he will not be able to participate in team activities for at least 48 hours and won’t be abe to play until he passes certain medical tests.
Per NBA, if a player is diagnosed with a concussion, he cannot return to participating for at least 48 hours, including the date of diagnosis, and until after he completes the required return-to-participation process.
