The Miami Dolphins got rocked after Tua Tagovailoa gave up three interceptions in the fourth quarter on Sunday.
It was a game they should have won, but instead, Miami left the contest with another loss. However, Dolphins fans are arguing about whether or not Tagovailoa suffered a concussion on Sunday.
Michael Williams shares a play that happened right before halftime. He believes this was a moment where the Dolphins’ quarterback may have suffered a concussion. This is purely speculation, as there is no proof whatsoever. Regardless, the fanbase is up in arms over the video anyway.
Saw this live. And I recorded it because I knew as soon as I saw it. This happened late in the 1st half. And I believe Tua played 2nd half with a concussion. His head bounced off the ground. And it was very similar to the hit in Cincinnati. 3 INTs in the 4th qtr. proved it to me. pic.twitter.com/Djl0xkGToX

As you can see, it appears as though Tua’s head bounces off of the ground. As we said, these concussion talks are pure speculation. Neither the Dolphins nor the NFL has said anything about Tagovailoa suffering an injury on the play. With that said, fans are certainly at odds after watching the clip.
Yup. Saw it bounce off the ground too. And he was terrible after that. ….. the same thing happened against Pittsburg. His play declined noticeably after a big hit.

The fact this concussion talk isn’t confirmed makes it iffy.
Tua’s a great qb, but that second half performance was all on him. Period. You can’t just blame all of his struggles this game on an unconfirmed diagnosis. He didn’t even hit the ground hard at all. If you’re telling he that that’s all it takes for him to get a concussion…

This guy makes a valid point.
To be honest, if this is going to be the discourse after every bad game, it isn’t worth giving Tua a second contract. We can’t start investigating specific hits after each loss and opining that it must be another concussion.

Clearly, Dolphins fans are at odds over Tua Tagovailoa in general. Maybe he can become more consistent as time goes on. However, it appears he needs to overcome injury concerns to get the fanbase to fully trust him.
