Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill faced off against his former team, the Chiefs, on Sunday in Germany and ended up losing 21-14.

Despite the two teams entering the game with a combined record of 12-4, the game was mostly a snoozefest with little offensive action for much of it.

Tyreek, who predicted he’d have 12 catches for 250 yards coming into the game, finished with 8 catches for only 62 yards, and even worse, he also had a crucial, game-changing fumble before halftime, which the Chiefs picked up and returned for a long touchdown, giving them a 21-0 lead going into half.

On his ‘It Needed To Be Said‘ podcast, Tyreek Hill finally shared his thoughts on the play: “I just want people to understand football.”, Hill continued: “We all know what happened; it is what it is.”

Tyreek then added, “It’s a very touchy situation, man. Because I don’t point fingers at nobody. My job is to play ball, let the players play, let the coaches coach, and just go out there and do my thing, man.”

Hill then said, “At the end of the day, I got to hold on to the ball. I don’t care if the man is not blocked. That’s my mindset.”

After saying all that, Tyreek Hill did end up pointing fingers at teammate Cedric Wilson for failing to block the defender that tackled Hill on that play: “It’s Cedrick Wilson’s fault though. Nah, let me stop!, shoutout to my boy Ced, man.”

Hill was saying the last part with some laughter but clearly believes he shouldn’t take all the blame for that play.
