Donald Trump is so dang good at golf that he reportedly won his club’s golf tournament despite being hundreds of miles away for a funeral during the first round of the event.
Not bad for a 76-year-old.
According to Radar, Trump “was not present on Saturday when members played the first 18 holes during the senior championship at his West Palm Beach golf club.”
So how did he win the tournament?
Well, despite being in Fayetteville, North Carolina and speaking at a memorial service there as the first round was taking place, Donald Trump apparently told his club members that he had a really good round on Thursday so that would count as his first round score.
The Daily Mail reports that competitors who arrived Sunday to play were surprised “although not exactly shocked” to see Trump at top of the leaderboard.
Trump’s Thursday round gave him a score of 40 using the Stableford method — which awards one point for bogey, two for par, three for a birdie and so on — five better than Saturday’s best round.
“A great honor to have won the Senior Club Championship at Trump International Golf Club, one of the best courses in the County, in Palm Beach County, Florida,” Trump wrote on Truth Social in a congratulatory message to himself.
“Competed against many fine golfers, and was hitting the ball long and straight.
“The reason that I announce this on fabulous TRUTH is that, in a very real way, it serves as a physical exam, only MUCH tougher,” he continued.
“You need strength and stamina to WIN, & I have strength & stamina – most others don’t.
“You also need strength & stamina to GOVERN!”

This tournament win, at the very least, now makes it 19 different club championships now won by Donald Trump over the years.

Author Rick Reilly put the number at over 20 in 2019, but for some reason, he doesn’t believe they are all legit.
“Trump’s going around telling people he has won 20,” Reilly told Vox. “But that’s 100 percent a lie. I actually played with him once, and he told me how he does it: Whenever he opens a new golf course, because he owns 14 and operates another five, he plays the first club champion by himself and declares that the club championship and puts his name on the wall.”
