I know some dudes who absolutely love ESPN’s Doris Burke—my old college roommate, for one—but who would have thought that Drake would’ve been among the bros on that list?
The rapper, who was seen posted up in a seat next to his hometown Toronto Raptors’ bench during the team’s playoff run this season, seems to have been giving as much love towards Burke as he was for the Raps, because ol’ boy tossed some flirtatious moves her way during Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Here’s what Doris had to say, per New York Magazine:
You go to a Raptors game and Drake is sitting there.
Can I tell you something about the last time I was there? I just could not believe this happened. Drake turned around — my seat at game six was right behind him — makes a heart shape [with his hands], and points at me. I’m looking around behind me to see who’s there, turn back to him, and then he points and he does it again. I texted my daughter and said, “You need to know Drake just did this to me.”
Drizzy’s favorite squad may have ended up getting eliminated by the Cleveland Cavs that day, but here’s to hoping he didn’t get his heart broken twice by seeing Doris Burke walk out of his life, too.
Keep grindin’, big dog.
