Everyone gets duped online at some point. There are so many fake Twitter accounts it’s almost impossible at this point.

That’s why it’s always important to make sure the spelling of an accounts name matches up.

NBA Central is one of the top news accounts for basketball, however, there are numerous fake accounts out there floating around Twitter.

With that said, Draymond Green got duped online so bad he ended up calling out Kevin Garnett in a now deleted tweet.

The fake report shared a fake quote from Garnett about the altercation between Green and Jordan Poole last offseason.

Usually, this wouldn’t mean much of anything, as it’s not even a real quote, after all. But Draymond Green fell for it and tagged Kevin Garnett in his response.

The former Boston Celtics star made sure to let Green know he made a mistake. Garnett even tagged Elon Musk to alert him of the fake accounts on Twitter.

Whoops! Luckily it’s all fake but Green was clearly wanting all of the smoke.

He’s been all over the news lately all because more information about his altercation with Poole is coming to light.

So, maybe Draymond Green was just ready for anyone to call him out. It probably didn’t matter who it was.

Jokes aside, this will probably be a nice lesson for Green moving forward. Make sure to check your sources, folks! Don’t get duped online by fake reports!

At the very least, Kevin Garnett seemed to have a good sense of humor about it.
