Draymond Green Complains Fines Are Robbing Him Of His Generational Wealth

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has been known for some pretty absurd comments and actions his entire NBA career. But, a rant this week about NBA fines and taxes may take the cake as his most delusional.

Green was on Shaquille O’Neal’s The Big Podcast and went on a rant about fines and taxes robbing him of his hard-earned money.

“The fines to meet don’t make sense you know, when you talk about as hard as we work to accumulate wealth, coming from situations that most people never make it out (of) and then you get fined the way we get fined, it’s actually not set up for us to be wealthy after we  play,”  Draymond Green said.

He also ranted about taxes, which is a complaint that many Americans have, but I’m sure some of you are rolling your eyes at someone with over $200 million in career earnings complaining about taxes.

But, the headline here is him complaining about fines. Draymond Green has had fines totaling $900,000 in his NBA career. But, if he wants to stop getting fined, he should simply stop doing things that get him fined! He has a reputation as a cheap shot artist, which has cost him a lot of money.

But, these fines are justified. There’s clear video evidence of his transgressions, and they were severe enough for him to have an indefinite suspension earlier this season.

All in all, it’s more hot air from Draymond Green.
