Draymond Green Throws Major Shade At LeBron James Over His Drew League Appearance

Draymond Green threw some major shade LeBron James’s way after seeing his Drew League performance earlier this offseason.

The Warriors’ guard has not held back this offseason, whether that be on his podcast or his revenge tour upon winning an NBA championship. Most targets have been either past opponents or his media doubters.

On Thursday morning, though, he took a jab at one of the league’s all-time greats.

After seeing his teammate Steph Curry host the ESPYs Wednesday night, he opted to make a comparison between the offseasons of Golden State players and a division rival. He called out Lakers’ star LeBron James in particular, tweeting out the following message.

In the last week, I watched Bron play basketball in a high school gym and watched Steph host the Espy’s!!!! Wow

Green, of course, is talking about James’s appearance in the Drew League. While the superstar did notch 40 points while likely not giving it his all over the course of the entire game, his team won by just two points against a group of amateurs. That was with James having DeMar DeRozan as a teammate.

Draymond couldn’t help himself from taking a shot at LeBron, and it got everyone stirred up on social media.

Fans respond as Draymond throws shade at LeBron

Social media erupted at Draymond’s shady comments about LeBron, with a wide range of reactions coming from the NBA world.

Some complimented Green’s trolling abilities, something he’s known for both on and off the court.

Others noted his obsession with LeBron.

I think Green knew exactly what he was doing, and he’s now just sitting back and laughing at the response.
