The college football world just got a lot more fun following the commitment of two epically named players. Dude Person and Rowdy Beers have made their college decisions, and their sure to have NIL deals lined up out the wazzou.

Both players announced their pledges over the last 24 hours, and each has already received marketing interest from major corporations.

Dude Person will be headed to Central Arkansas University after spending last season with Northwest Mississippi Community College. Dude’s real name is Rontavious, but the former is just so much better to say. Person posted his commitment announcement to social media Monday, and he quickly got a reaction from DUDE Wipes, a full-body flushable wipes company.

Person racked up 90 tackles and a pair of picks while playing at Northwest Mississippi, and he’s sure to give Central Arkansas a defensive presence at the safety position, but he’s not the only awesomely named football player that committed this week.

Shortly before Person’s announcement, Rowdy Beers let the world know that he’d be playing his college football at Florida International University. And wouldn’t you know it? Buffalo Wild Wings quickly posted on his pledge to note the announcement.

Beers is a tight end out of Colorado, who also held offers from Missouri Western State and Northern Colorado according to his 24/7 recruiting profile. He’ll provide the Panthers with a pass catching option on offense, as well as a plethora of NIL attention over the next four years.

Fans and media were quick to comment on the commitments, posting reactions on social media.

Tom Fornelli of CBS Sports said, “What a 24 hours for names. Rowdy Beers and Dude Person. The name economy is THRIVING.” Another fan wrote, “Rowdy Beers is a fun one but Dude Person is on another level for names.”

Now, we’ve seen awesome NIL partnerships in the past. Never forget Nebraska’s De’Coldest Crawford inking a deal with a Lincoln based heating and air company.

But these two could get even more attention from potential suitors. This is just another reason why college football is the best.
