The Eastern Conference Finals were decided not long ago as the Miami Heat edged out the Boston Celtics.

However, it appears there was quite a bit of trash-talking between Celtics fans and Heat guard Duncan Robinson.

During a recent interview, Robinson revealed he was put into a group text filled with hundreds of trash-talking fans. However, he was able to seek revenge in the best way possible.

Duncan Robinson sat down with JJ Redick on his podcast The Old Man & The Three and shared his experience with Celtics fans.

It eventually led to the Heat guard trolling Boston with a subtle Hulk Hogan taunt.

Here’s what Robinson had to say about the whole ordeal.

What a wild scenario to go through. But hey, Robinson at least made sure to get back at those fans. Even if the taunt was a bit subtle.

On the other hand, maybe it’s time for Duncan Robinson to get a new phone number. Those fans have to be sharing his number to everyone they know by now.

In the end, the Heat guard was able to keep his poise and help his team secure the Game 7 win. Miami is heading to the NBA Finals where they’ll have a chance to take home the championship.

Hopefully, Denver Nuggets fans don’t learn his phone number and begin a group text of their own.

Make sure to tune into Game 1 of the NBA Finals, as the Heat and Nuggets kick off the series at 8:30 P.M. on ABC and ESPN+.
