The UFC is still feeling the shockwave left by Dana White on New Year’s eve. His physical altercation with this wife was rather alarming and put the organization in hot water.

Overall, it’s a bad look for the organization, as it’s made the UFC President look like a hypocrite. Some fighters have shared their thoughts and now Dustin Poirier enters the chat.

During an interview with Bloody Elbow, Poirier sent a stern message to Dana White. He claims, “You should never put your hands on a woman.” We can’t agree with that statement more! It’s nice to see Dustin Poirier, one of the UFC’s top fighters, call out White for his altercation on New Year’s Eve.

Unlike Sean O’Malley, Dustin Poirier isn’t afraid to call it as it is. On top of that, he also ponders the repercussions for White. The UFC President is in a rather powerful position. Overall, it’s not a great look for the organization as a whole. So, Poirier is right to wonder what it means for the famous sports league.

Since the video, “the UFC, parent company Endeavor, and broadcast partners have refused to comment on the situation,” per MMA Fighting. Additionally, it was believed TBS had removed Dana White’s Slap League from its broadcast, but instead, it will be airing on January 18.

So far, it appears there are no repercussions for the UFC President. At the very least, we’re just glad to know that Dustin Poirier is one of the good guys.
