The Philadelphia Eagles are putting the smackdown on the Washington Commanders. They enter halftime up 24-0 as Washington has no answers for Philly. However, DeVonta Smith is going bonkers in this game and his teammates give him the ultimate sign of respect on the sideline.

Bussin’ With The Boys shows a quick clip of Philadelphia draping DeVonta Smith with a Batman cape. It’s a hilariously awesome way to show respect to Smith, as he’s been a monster against the Commanders. In the first half, the Eagles’ wide receiver put up 156 receiving yards and 1 touchdown off of seven receptions.

We still have the entire second half to play, so there is no telling just how big of a performance Smith might have. The Commanders have largely struggled throughout the contest so far. Maybe their halftime adjustments can get them back in the game. However, if DeVonta Smith keeps putting up video game numbers, this game might be over early.
Look for Jalen Hurts to keep finding the open man. Especially considering AJ Brown is having a solid performance as well. If the Eagles can keep this up, they very well could have the best offense in the league. Or at least in the NFC.
Keep an eye on Smith for the rest of the contest. There’s a reason his teammates put the batman cape on him, as he’s been playing like a superhero all day. The Eagles are looking like a powerhouse in the early portion of the regular season.
