Eddie Alvarez Would Love To Welcome Conor McGregor To BKFC

If Conor McGregor ever decides to make the jump to BKFC, Eddie Alvarez would love to welcome him in the bareknuckle boxing ring.

Earlier this year, McGregor went viral when he attended a BKFC event in Colorado and faced off against Mike Perry.

After the faceoff, McGregor told MMAFighting’s Ariel Helwani that he would 100 percent do BKFC because he loved the sport.

“I would do it, yes, I would! In a heartbeat, I’ll do it. Yes I would do it for sure. It’s hard to get a boring fight…It’s actually almost impossible for a boring fight to happen in it.”

“No other discipline or sport could say that and say that…a zero percent chance of a boring fight, we can all have a snoozer…Boxing can be a snoozefest, MMA can have a snoozefest as well…even a jab splits skin, so from the split skin causes panic in the ring and then the crowd rises…So it’s interesting, I’d be up for it for sure, why not?”

Ahead of his fight against Perry at BKFC 56, Alvarez said he would love to get a rematch against McGregor in BKFC but doesn’t think the UFC superstar would ever want to step foot in the bare-knuckle boxing ring.

“That would be beautiful…you and I both know that’s never going to happen, so if you want to speak hypothetically, yeah that would be a nice a little dream”
