If you are a big golf fan then I know (because I am one) how much you enjoy seeing what dope new gear and apparel each of the top players bust out for the Majors.

Last week we took a look at most of the top players’ scripting and clubs they are carrying in their bags for this year’s PGA Championship.

One thing that went pretty much unnoticed was the new Nike hat that the company decided to debut at Bethpage Black this week (seen above of defending PGA Championship winner Brooks Koepka).

Normally, when we see PGA Tour pros who are sponsored by Nike they are wearing hats that look like this…

Apparently someone at Nike decided that wasn’t good enough for this year’s PGA Championship and decided to go with… well…

As is often the case with change, fans on Twitter had thoughts, and as is also often the case, many of them weren’t very positive.

Seems a bit harsh, but golf fans, as I mentioned, are passionate about their apparel.
