Bills Mafia descended upon FedEx Field for Sunday’s game between Buffalo and Washington. As could be expected, they were not treated well by the worst stadium in the NFL. It was as could be expected.

There has been a lot of controversy surrounding FedEx Field over the last few years. Not only have field conditions caused multiple season or career-ending injuries, the infrastructure is abysmal.

The concourse is outdated and tired. Problems seem to emerge on a weekly basis.

Sewage water appeared to leak from the stadium on top of fans in 2021 and then it seemingly happened again last season. If that wasn’t bad enough, the stands themselves famously collapsed on top of Jalen Hurts— and to fix the problem, Washington used some zip ties. Seriously.

These are just a few examples. The most recent took place during Week 3 of the 2023 NFL season.

FedEx Field was at it again on Sunday!

Remnants of tropical storm Ophelia caused quite a bit of weather in the DMV area on Sunday. Bills fans that made the trip may not have been thrilled but they did not let conditions get them down.

It was a total Bills Mafia takeover in the parking lot during pregame tailgates. Pro-Buffalo chants were also deafening inside of the concourse as red and blue far out-numbered maroon and gold in the stands.

Although the rain lightened up some as the game got underway, it was still very wet. Especially for one visiting fan who never would have expected to feel any of the weather.

He was sitting under the overhang. If you’re sitting under the overhang, you should not get wet.

Not at FedEx Field! A crack in the concrete created a forceful leak that poured atop the fan’s head for the duration of the afternoon.

Credit to the Commanders. They played two home games this season before a glaring issue with FedEx Field made for a terrible fan experience!
