Felix Ojo is one of the top offensive line prospects in the 2026 recruiting class. The 6-foot-6, 275-pound mammoth boasts offers from most every notable program across the country.
He’s currently in the process of taking visits ahead of his senior season. He provided an update on his recruitment Tuesday.
Ojo had previously scheduled a visit to Notre Dame. That trip was expected to take place on April 10th. That’s no longer the case.
I will no longer be Visiting Notre Dame on the 10th.

The lineman canceled his visit days before his expected arrival in South Bend. It would seem to be a strong indication that the Fighting Irish are no longer being considered as a legitimate contender.
The timing of Felix Ojo’s Notre Dame rejection is interesting, though likely unrelated. The news comes just as he’d received 5-star status from a prominent recruiting service.
ESPN gave Ojo a boost in its latest recruiting update. He now holds unanimous 5-star standing on the four major recruiting sites.

A long, rangy prospect at the tackle position, Ojo was super impressive at UA Next Camp in Dallas this spring and continues to progress as he develops 📈https://t.co/bvcZMurDLa pic.twitter.com/PlyBo0LpBu

Ojo is currently considered a Top 10 player by both 247 Sports and On3 Sports. The Texas native is rated as the Lone Star State’s second-best prospect.
At the moment, he’s shown interest in Oklahoma, Michigan, Ole Miss, and Ohio State, among others. Most, however, believe he’ll stay home and suit up for the Longhorns.
“[Texas] is the most consistent,” he said while speaking to Rivals in February. “I love the consistency of the whole offensive staff… Their coaches have reached out consistently since Day 1 when I got the offer.”
Felix Ojo has five official visits scheduled with the programs mentioned above. He will not be stopping into South Bend to check out Notre Dame. The Fighting Irish are no longer a player for the five-star recruit. They’ll be forced to look in another direction for offensive line talent.
