All it took was Taylor Swift to release her new album for two-time F1 champion Fernando Alonso to start trolling everyone again about his relationship with the singer.
Last April, Alonso sent Swifties and F1 fans into a frenzy when he strongly leaned into a rumor that he and Taylor Swift were dating.
The rumor began when a gossip site wrote that “a couple of Spanish magazines have been posting about TS and Spanish F1 driver Fernando Alonso. According to them, the couple has been seeing each other for a week now. Nothing serious since they are both recently single.”
The rumor was fueled by the fact that Taylor Swift performed at the F1 event in Austin, Texas back in 2016 and, well, because Fernando Alonso took to TikTok to fan the flames himself.
Of course, whether Alonso and Swift ever were really an item is still a mystery. Plus, now, as everyone is well aware, she is very much dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
That, however, didn’t stop Fernando Alonso from once again toying with fans emotions again on TikTok.
In the song “imgonnagetyouback,” Taylor Swift sings, “Small talk, big love, act like I don’t care what you did,” Swift sings in the diss track. “I’m an Aston Martin that you steered straight into the ditch / Then ran and hid.”
Fernando Alonso, of course, drives for Aston Martin in Formula 1.
In his TikTok video, the F1 driver is seen listening to the song. While he doesn’t speak in the short clip, when Swift drops the Aston Martin line, he looks up at the camera, puts his index finger to his mouth, and makes the shushing signal.
