The Kansas City Chiefs have officially become the most insufferable franchise in sports. The title used to belong to Philly fans or Boston, but now, with two Super Bowl wins since 2019, it is hands-down the Chiefs.

Between the Mahomes family, players whining about the smallest slight to them, and now the tantrums thrown on Sunday by Patrick, the sports world is starting to understand why so many fans have despised the Chiefs the past few seasons, especially on social media.

That now includes people who actually played for, and had success, as a member of the Kansas City Chiefs’ roster.

Mitchell Schwartz, who played offensive tackle on the Chiefs’ Super Bowl LIV winning team and was an All-Pro for Kansas City in 2018, found that out the hard way on Monday.

Stating the obvious, something which the Chiefs and their fans want to deny, and referring to Kadarius Toney’s penalty on Sunday, Schwartz wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “That’s not lined up in the neutral zone that’s lined up offsides. He’s past the ball.”

He also pointed out, “Attention to detail, knowing what to do, executing your assignment, etc etc. It’s a wonder this team scores as many points as they do given how many negative plays they create for themselves.”

Those comments caused Chiefs fans to swarm him like Swifties going after one of the singer’s ex-boyfriends.

“Logging off. This fanbase is officially toxic on here and it sucks to deal with,” Schwartz would later write.

Welcome to every other NFL teams’ fans’ world, Mitchell.

“We had how many penalties, drops, turnovers, missed assignments? This is not a good offense right now and we have no one to blame but ourselves for all the mistakes we make, every single week,” he added.

On Monday, after one person finally admitted he knew what he was talking about, Schwartz wrote, “People might not agree with me but I usually know what I’m talking about. And if I don’t I do my research before so I don’t say stuff without feeling confident about what I’m talking about. Opinions are one thing but you can’t be wrong about facts doing this stuff.”
