Garrett Wilson was visibly frustrated after the Jets‘ most recent outing against the Dolphins. The pass catcher was seen venting to quarterback Aaron Rodgers on the sidelines in the late moments of a shutout loss.

New York’s offense was abysmal on the field, and things went from bad to worse when starting passer Zach Wilson left the game with an apparent head injury.

No matter who was under center on Sunday, the results were largely the same. Wilson completed just four of his 11 pass attempts for a grand total of 26 yards. The offense as a whole managed just four yards in the first half.

Trevor Siemian entered after Wilson’s exit, fumbling and throwing a pair of picks. Miami would win, 30-0.

The struggles under center led to frustrations from Garrett Wilson, who was seen venting to Aaron Rodgers during the second half of that Jets-Dolphins matchup.

Wilson finished the contest with three catches for a team-leading 29 yards.

Rodgers shared the feeling of disgust, and his face showed it throughout the shutout. He might not have much incentive to return after seeing Wilson left out to dry due to a poor showing from the offensive line. He was sacked four times in his 30 minutes of action.

Fans were quick to comment on the Wilson-Rodgers interaction on social media. Most believed Rodgers is completely checked out.

“Rogers is not listening to a word.”

“A-Rod is fuming.”

“Aaron isn’t the least bit interested.”

With the loss, New York fell to 5-9 on the season. Playoff hopes have all but died as the Jets are on their way to another losing campaign.
