Aaron Rodgers has been making the most of life as a newfound New Yorker over the last week.

After being traded to the New York Jets on April 24, Rodgers has been spotted all over town across the Big Apple, including even at the Jets’ practice facility despite the fact that it’s still the offseason.

On Tuesday night, for example, Rodgers was sitting courtside with Jets cornerback and defensive rookie of the year Sauce Gardner at Madison Square Garden to watch the New York Knicks take on the Miami Heat in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

This appearance, however, has left Jets’ offensive rookie of the year Garrett Wilson wondering where his invites to all these splashy events have been.

“Garrett Wilson said he talked to Aaron Rodgers this morning about why he hasn’t been able to get one of these tickets to the games he’s been attending. He’s been to games with Allen Lazard, Sauce Gardner, Breece Hall, etc,” said New York Jets SNY reporter Connor Hughes.

While Rodgers may not have taken Wilson to any Knicks games (yet), he’s certainly been full of praise for the former Ohio State University pass catcher, as he recently compared him to perennial Pro Bowl wide receiver Davante Adams.

Despite playing with a trio of subpar quarterbacks — Joe Flacco, Zach Wilson, and Mike White — during his rookie season with the New York Jets, Wilson still managed to post 83 catches for 1,103 yards and four touchdowns, easily making him the most promising wide receiver prospect that the Jets have had on their roster since Keyshawn Johnson back in the 90s.

Heading into the 2023 season, Rodgers is expected to help Wilson and the Jets take the leap to the next level, as Gang Green currently has the seventh-best betting odds to lift next year’s Super Bowl trophy, behind only the Chiefs, Eagles, Niners, Bills, Bengals, and Cowboys.
