San Francisco 49ers quarterback Mac Jones appears to be single and looking for love again, and his teammate, George Kittle and his wife, Claire, have decided to help him find it.
Mac Jones split from his long-term girlfriend, Sophie Scott, earlier this year. The pair began dating back in 2019 while both were at the University of Alabama.
Unfortunately, the couple noticed something about Mac Jones that could be a dating deal-breaker.
This week, the pair sat down on their podcast, The Kittle Things, and talked with Jones about his love life, what he is looking for in a girlfriend, and some of his bizarre eating habits.
Claire Kittle Discovers Mac Jones Has An Interesting Quirk
During the podcast, Claire Kittle asked Mac Jones what he looks for when it comes to dating. Jones responded that family is “huge” for him and that he is “attracted to smart ladies.”
“Just don’t go to a seafood spot with me,” Mac Jones told the couple.
George Kittle immediately assumed it was because Jones had food allergies.
“I’m not allergic to anything; I just don’t like it,” Jones explained.
George then pointed out that Mac Jones is the type of person who would order chicken tenders at a seafood restaurant.
“Exactly, I’m like, where’s the kid’s menu at? That’s just who I am,” Jones admitted.
That revelation would come back to haunt him.
“You don’t eat seafood!” Claire said when George asked Mac Jones what his biggest red flag in dating is. “Oh, and you don’t drink coffee. That one might be worse.”
“Yeah. I’d say that those are probably my two biggest ones,” Jones admitted.
Mac Jones Has Become Quite Popular Since Joining The 49ers
During the podcast, George and Claire Kittle also discussed Mac Jones’ growing popularity among 49ers fans, including the standing ovation he received when entering a game against Miami.
Also, despite his questionable dining preferences, Mac Jones apparently isn’t having much trouble attracting women’s attention.
49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk recently revealed that women regularly message him asking him to introduce them to Jones.
Meanwhile, Claire Kittle isn’t exactly shy about expressing her opinions about 49ers quarterbacks.
Earlier this year, she appeared to take a shot at former San Francisco quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo while praising current 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy.
Now she’s trying to find a girlfriend for the team’s backup quarterback.
Hopefully, whoever she finds doesn’t mind eating off the kids’ menu.
