The dust has settled on the college football recruiting Class of 2022 and the Georgia Bulldogs finished the cycle with the third-ranked class in the nation. Coming off of a national championship, Kirby Smart and his staff were able to rebuild accordingly and set up their future at running back.
Amongst the five five-stars, 15 four-stars and nine three-stars that committed to play in Athens was running back Branson Robinson. Robinson, a four-star back from Madison, Mississippi, signed with Georgia back in December.
He is absolutely massive.
At 5-foot-10, 220 pounds, he looks like he should be in the NFL, not finishing up his senior year of high school.

Robinson compares almost directly to former Bulldogs, now Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb. When Chubb signed with Georgia in 2014, he measured-in at 5-foot-11, 216 pounds. It’s essentially his reincarnation, if not even bigger.

Not only does Robinson dominate on the field, but he is also a weight room warrior and a freak athlete.
He max benches 410 pounds, max squats 630 pounds, and max deadlifts 720 pounds.
While Auburns football program crumbles, I’m fired up about incoming RB Branson Robinson and how a high school kid is this freaking strong. RBU! #GoDawgs pic.twitter.com/32iTKwgG6g

And to make things even crazier, he has a 40-inch vertical and runs a 4.49-second 40-yard-dash. Good luck trying to keep up with the big fella.
#UGA RB signee Branson Robinson is 5-foot-11, 217 pounds, but certainly has the speed to match. @On3Recruits

Robinson received offers from the likes of Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Tennessee, LSU, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Michigan, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Oregon, Penn State, TCU, and USC. He was always trending toward the Bulldogs and ultimately ended up inking his NLI with the reigning national champions.
