It took Giannis Antetokounmpo a few years to find his footing after the Milwaukee Bucks selected the big man with the 15th overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft. However, it’s safe to say his development was worth the wait.

Since coming into his own, the “Greek Freak” has earned a spot on the All-Star Team seven years in a row, secured Most Valuable Player honors in back-to-back years, and was also named the MVP of the NBA Finals when he led Milwaukee to a title in 2021.

Giannis also cemented himself as one of the most entertaining players in the league after winning a championship, as he celebrated the victory by rolling up to Chick-Fil-A with both of the trophies he’d secured before ordering 50 chicken nuggets in honor of the 50 points he’d dropped against the Suns to seal the deal.

Antetokounmpo had an even more impressive night when the Bucks walked away with a 106-105 win over the Clippers on the back of the 54 points he posted while putting his team on his back.

After the game, the big man discussed how he planned to celebrate that achievement with reporters.

During the conversation, he shamelessly angled for a new endorsement deal while disowning Chick-Fil-A in favor of Culver’s, as he seemed confident the Wisconsin-based chain would hook him up with the dozens of cheeseburgers he said he was planning on ordering.

Giannis may have a five-year contract worth a cool $228 million, but he’s known for being a somewhat thrifty guy.

It also seems like his decision to swap allegiances paid off based on the tweet the company posted in response.

Well played.
