“Go Webb Go!”

No, that’s not Peter Parker trying to figure out how to get his spiderwebs to work, but instead us, yelling at Webb Simpson as he birdied 5 of the final 7 holes, en route to cashing a huge win for us at 30-1.

Another incredible Sunday of PGA had us going birdie for birdie with many of the guys at the top of the leader board. Guys were going out and firing 62’s and coming from out of nowhere to the top of the board. It was just a matter of could Simpson match all these birdies.

With this weeks win, our units grew from +9.11 all the way up to +14.41. If you bet $100 per week on each guy I include in this article, you would be up $1,441 on the year. Not too bad!

This week we head up to Connecticut for the Traveler’s Championship at TPC River Highlands.

Key stats here are pretty clear. We want the best tee to green players, as well as guys who can stick their approach shots. I’m expecting another pretty good scoring week. It’s a par 70 course, so Par 5 scoring is not going to be as important as other courses, I’m looking for par 4 scorers here.

Below is a refresher on how I am allocating my bets this week, and who I like to take down Traveler’s Championship.

As far as betting, I’ll keep track of the overall performance for the year each week. The important thing to understand is that betting on golf is hard. Most weeks we are going to lose, but one winning week, can make up for multiple losing weeks. I’m taking a long term approach, and hoping to finish the season up. As you will see, we are going to spread our money out to multiple players, and hopefully grind out a profit.

Each week, I am going to put one unit in play. That unit is going to be divided up between all the players I want to bet on. This unit can be whatever you feel comfortable losing in a week, but should remain consistent throughout the season. If you move the amount all over the place each week, your chances of profiting decrease quite a bit.  With that being said, let’s take a look at who I’m targeting to take down this event.

Let’s stay HOT.
