Gronk Talks About Getting Hit In The Head By A Beer At The Super Bowl Parade And Shows Off His Scar

Future NFL Hall-of-Famer Rob Gronkowski is a 5-time Pro Bowler, 4-time First-Team All-Pro, and 3-time Super Bowl champion with the New England Patriots. He always seems to be plagued with injuries throughout the season but comes through the in the clutch when Brady needs him.

Gronk‘s played nine seasons in the NFL riddled with injuries and it seems like there’s always talk of retirement at the end of the year. Some recent comments by Gronkowski have people thinking this might’ve been his last season, and it would definitely make sense for him to go out on top as a Super Bowl champion if he was going to hang up his cleats.

But Gronk said he wouldn’t address retirement for a few weeks. First, he needs to party. That started with the Super Bowl Championship parade in Boston on Tuesday where Gronk and his fellow teammates got smashed. Check out the best and weirdest signs from that parade.

On Wednesday, Rob Gronkowski was in New York as a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where he discussed fans throwing them beers during the parade and how one caught him in the temple and has left a bloody mark on his face.

I can’t imagine who’s more excited about this incident. The fan that tossed Gronk a beer and realized he cut his face and later got a shout out on Fallon, or Gronk who now has a battle scar on his face from partying so hard.

I’m not a Patriots fan but I really, really don’t want to see Gronk retire mostly because he’s such a spectacular player on the field. It’s impossible to imagine another duo like Brady-Gronk in the near future because they’re both once-in-a-lifetime talents. But I’d love to see him in the booth or on TV in some capacity in the future. I can’t imagine someone like that ever disappearing completely from the public eye.
