Every so often we hear stories about players fighting during practice. Maybe not as wild as the one between Draymond Green and Jordan Poole, but they still happen.
Well, apparently back when to the Orlando Magic, he annoyed Hedo Turkoglu so much that they got into a little brawl during practice.
During a guest appearance on the Knuckleheads podcast, Turkoglu details how his brawl with Redick played out. From the sounds of it, he was getting incredibly annoyed with how JJ was playing defense.

Okay, it’s actually a pretty funny story. The way Turkoglu describes his elbow shot has a great comedic effect.
Hedo Turkoglu was having none of it during that practice. And to be fair, he gave JJ Redick a warning too.
Luckily, their relationship was never strained though. The former teammates seem to have a solid bond. Especially considering they were teammates for roughly eight seasons.
With that said, it’s great to hear old stories like this from former players. Any inside scoop we can get revolving around the everyday life of a professional athlete is entertaining.
And who knows? Maybe one day we’ll hear Hedo Turkogly and JJ Redick recall old stories one day on the Old Man And The Three podcast. That would certainly make for a fun episode.
